VINE SOFTWARE - PROGRAMMING
Vine Software specialises in producing user interfaces for UNIX systems. This is mainly producing "wrappers" around standard or your low-level system functions and are usually written in perl for character-based systems or Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) in C or C++ using Xwindows with standard toolkits such as MOTIF.
A specific area of expertise is producing programs which will run on multiple operating systems, using different Xwindows toolkits (even when they are called by the same name!). We can also produce programs which can be built to run on UNIX and Windows computers. We have even been known to produce ASPs written in JScript or VBasic to run on Windows machines!
Alternatively we can produce stand-alone perl or Java programs where the same program can run on any computer.
